Cedar Stars Monmouth’s aim is to provide a competitive learning environment where players are free to be creative without fear of failure. We look to nurture a player’s intrinsic motivation to become a better version of who they were yesterday.
The plan for each stage of development is to continue to build on ideas and proficiency from the year before. We strive to encourage players to go on a personal journey to understand and master the basics of the game of soccer. We are looking for players who are searching to continually improve their competence when executing ideas, through good technique and game understanding, following CSA methodology. We feel it is paramount that the players know WHY they should do certain actions.
